How to Make a ” I’m Thankful For..” Placemat
Holidays are a BIG deal in our family. With a military spouse, we make the most of the holidays we get to spend together. A big part of our traditions is making crafts that we can use each year.
The girls made a fantastic AND fun “I’m Thankful For..” placemat that can be used for a few years. It was simple, easy and no mess.
Supplies:
- Construction paper
- Leave templates (great ones available at JessGordonDesigns.com)
- Crayons/markers/etc.
- Laminating Sheets/Laminator
Steps:
- Gather supplies
- Print and cut out leaf templates
- Write name, year and “I’m Thankful For..” at the top of paper
- Have children write or draw what they are thankful for on the leaves
- Glue leaves onto paper
- Laminate the placemat
- Enjoy!
What are YOUR family traditions?
